I have a confession...I like to shop on Etsy....a lot! I thought I would share some of my favorite Etsy shops with you, just in time for Christmas shopping! On Etsy there are lots of great homemade items, and vintage things for sale. It's fab. Next confession? I am addicted to mineral make-up, particularly the eye shadows. And particularly the ones made by Bridget at Madison Street Beauty.

I recently purchased a large make-up set, which included Foundation Mineral Makeup, Setting Powder, and Blush. What a perfect Christmas gift. The foundation goes on so smoothly and gives a medium to full coverage depending on how you apply it. According to the shop website it is, "Artisan-crafted, vegan mineral foundation. Our full-coverage foundation was created to feel weightless and baby soft. All of our foundation shades are made with pure, vegan minerals that can improve the health of your skin and contain nothing artificial, chemical, or damaging." I received "Magnolia". It matches my skin perfectly, so much so that I tried to swatch it for you and it didn't show up on my skin in the pictures. She has a long list of color choices, so I am sure you will find a match for your skin color. The blush is called Gilded Rose – warm pink with golden shimmer. It is fantastic! It gives you a healthy glow and stays put all day long. The Mineral Setting Powder is my favorite of these three products. The site says it is, "Handmade with aloe powder to soothe, even out skin tone, and calm redness." It delivers on these promises, leaving your skin looking velvety and smooth.
In addition I purchased a BUNCH of eye shadows! I will show you a few, and then you have to go to Madison Street Beauty to look at the rest. Have you ever bought an eye shadow and it looks great in the package, and then when you get it home and try it out you can barely see it on your eye? That will not happen with Madison Street Beauty products! They are all super gorgeous, go on smoothly, and blend very well. The shadows are highly pigmented, so you don't have to use tons of it to get a great result and they show up really well. I. Love. Them.

whoa! such lovely pigments, just makes my online-shopping nerve shiver haha! and I wonder how that aloe setting powder is. have you tried it? I am addicted to mattifying powders at all time cause I have the oilest skin ever!
ReplyDeleteThe aloe setting powder is great! I have dry skin and it goes on smoothly without accentuating the dry parts! It is white in the container, but looks translucent on your skin!
